My POV (personally
owned vehicle) is a 2005 Saturn Vue. When I bought it, my (now)
19-year-old exclaimed, "Wow, Dad, that car is too blue!" Since then,
its nickname is the "Too-blue Saturn Vue."
My POV station
consists of an Icom 706 MKIIG, and LDG auto tuner feeding a WB4POL
J-pole (for 2-meters and 70 cm) and either a Hamstick-style antenna
or an Outbacker Stealth Plus. This station works well for me, and
I've made contacts in the U.S., Canada, South and Central America,
and as far away as New Zealand.
